How fantastic it has been to wake up to blue, sunny skies and eat our meals outside in the cockpit. We have even had to put the Bimini up for shade. Unfortunately most of our time so far has been spent on boat cleaning, laundry, ironing, food shopping, etc but now that we have sunshine we have the opportunity for boat cleaning chores to be done properly.
Elizabeth and I have been to the food market and the Spanish fruit is just fabulous, with peaches and the melon being so sweet and juicy that we eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sitting in the cockpit at 11.00 pm, answering emails not long after sunset and with a pleasant breeze to keep the warm evening very pleasant, I wonder how it could be so cold just a short distance to the north of us.
