Maó to Porto Colom and Palma
Yesterday we had an easy six hour motor sail from Maó to Porto Colom, Mallorca and anchored for the night. It was peaceful and calm and a beautiful evening to have our dinner in the cockpit. It was actually a little too warm during the night and Greg slept for a while up in the cockpit to cool off.
Today's trip back to Palma was very warm, especially when we only had a slight following breeze, but by the time we reached the Bay of Palma the sailing was so enjoyable we just stayed out there sailing back and forth. We also knew it would be much warmer when we came into the marina.
It feels good to be 'home' although we did enjoy our experiences in Menorca. We will probably return there on our way back from France to Mallorca in the future. Now that we feel familiar with everything there we will find the next visit much easier. The first time in a new area with a boat is always a little more stressful than being in familiar places.
