East to Benalmadena

Our travel to Benalmadena today was quite easy and it was fascinating to go around Gibraltar by sea, with the rock looking quite different from each angle. We had about a seven hour trip and were able to do a little bit of sailing near the end. Benalmadena marina is good but very open to the public. We are stern to and feel like we are on show for the passing parade who come to look at the boats. This part of the coast is just a mass of apartment complexes and tourists. There are apartments, cafes and a supermarket ( with a good bakery) as part of the marina and a beach each side. No free wifi here but the office staff are very helpful and organised a rental car for us so that we can drive to Grenada and there is also a pick-up and deliver laundry company which I am very happy to use for the bed linen and towels. I love my new onboard washing machine/ dryer for personal clothes.
