Sep 1 - 2

On Sep 1 after Ginnie left I dropped Andrew, Chloe and Tim in the old town area for a few hours of wandering the maze of beautiful lanes and I discovered some new ones myself. I found some very good shops, especially shoe shops, but they are all starting to display their autumn collections which do not interest me. Greg spent the day with Bill Reilly, cleaning the deck and hull of Dream Catcher III.

In the afternoon I took Andrew, Chloe and Tim to the beach at Porto Portals so they could enjoy their last swim before leaving for Barcelona in the early evening. Greg and I had a relaxing evening with a pizza for dinner and the enjoyment of a New Tricks DVD.

Sep 2 was a totally relaxing day and evening, which I spent reading on the foredeck where I had both sun and breeze, and Greg spent much of the day watching a couple of refrigeration electricians find out what was causing the fridge and freezer to cut out. He likes to learn from the experts so that in future he would be able to fix such a problem himself. Problems don't always occur when you are in a port, with help readily at hand. Making spaghetti bolognese for dinner was the only energetic task I carried out all day.
