We are about to land in Melbourne, leaving Dream Catcher III in Palma, Mallorca until we return in 2009. Our last few days were mostly spent in sorting out everything on the boat, cleaning, packing and seeing some of the trades people who need to do some minor work on the boat while we are away. We had a new DVD player installed and some of the electrical work completed by Randall, who does everything most competently.
We had dinner one night with Randall and his wife at an outstanding Italian restaurant just out of Palma. The freshly made oxtail soup won Greg's heart and my fish soup was a great meal in itself, but the mixed grilled vegetables were just perfect, and that's quite a recommendation in a country where it's not common to have many vegetables at all when eating out. We will definitely return next year.
There are many more photos for Bill to add to our website and we hope that happens soon so that the enjoyment we experienced with friends over the last few weeks in Sardinia and Corsica can be recorded. One of the best aspects of the whole trip has been the opportunity to spend time with friends, sharing our beautiful Dream Catcher III.
Thank you Bill for setting up and maintaining our website and posting our photos.
