Saint-Tropez

We enjoyed our couple of weeks in Palma even though the weather was mostly lousy. We left there last Monday and sailed to St Tropez (about a 40 hour trip) in very mixed seas so it was not the most pleasant trip. So we are now in St Tropez and have all been enjoying the experience. All of the huge glamorous motor yachts have been sent out of the harbor to make way for the 150+ yachts in the regatta and we have been given a prime position on the dock, along the main promenade in front of all of the cafes. It is quite something watching the passing parade of the rich and not so famous. Greg and I and the crew are all quite entertained by it. A model came onto our boat on Saturday as the sun was starting to set and a photographer took many photos at the bow as she posed in very provocative ways. The guys were blown away by the spectacle, particularly Gatta who had the task of holding on to the model's gold high heels!
