A Day Off (sort of)

Yesterday I didn't go in the race but did some shopping (too hard to resist here!) And also went to the crew hotel to lounge by the pool for a while and it was at last hot enough for swimming. The crew were back mid afternoon because the winds were so light they had bobbed around from 10.00am to 2.00 pm waiting to start the race so at 2.00 several of the boats came back in, including Dream Catcher lll. Last night was the magnificent event at the citadel, with a sit down dinner in the grounds, overlooking the town of St Tropez and surrounding waters. The fireworks display after dark was phenomenal, especially when we had fireworks at both ends of the citadel. What a spectacular setting! It was a very special 30th wedding anniversary.
